These are photos that I took of the University of Michigan Student Union. I didn't have a particular reason for taking these pictures, I was just wandering around town, looking for cool buildings to take pictures of. If the blueprint shot was for some kind of story, there would likely be a narrative reason for it to be at a Dutch angle, but since there isn't a story associated with it, it has no reason to be.
These are pictures that I took of the First United Methodist Church in downtown Ann Arbor. I really liked the way that the windows lined up, and just the designs of the windows in general, so I tried to take photos of the windows as much as possible. There wasn't much rhyme or reason to these photos, they were just "ooo, cool angle! Snap!"
These are pictures that I took of a purple house in the Slauson neighborhood in Ann Arbor. Whenever I would drive past it, I always loved to look at it, since it's a very aesthetically pleasing house. When editing "Twilight Gloom" I was messing around with some of the adjustment stuff, and stumbled upon this mixing of shadows and such, and it was really wonderful, so I decided that it would be a creepy photo.
These are pictures I took of one of the buildings next to the First United Methodist Church. I had almost no reason for taking them, other than that I thought the angles of the building looked cool, and I liked how quaint it was.
These are pictures I took of the First Baptist Church in downtown Ann Arbor. I've always really loved the stained glass window it has, and while I couldn't get a great shot of the window, the rest of the church is quite a nice building as well.
